Rewind is a search engine designed to help people find things they have seen, said, or heard. It stores all of the recordings locally on your Mac, so only you have access to them. It compresses raw recording data up to 3,750x times so you can store years of recordings even with the smallest hard drive. Rewind automatically records your meetings, making them easy to search. It also uses native macOS APIs and Optical Character Recognition to analyze everything on your screen with no cloud integration or IT required. Rewind utilizes virtually every part of Apple Silicon System on a Chip (SoC) and doesn’t tax your CPU while recording. It also lets you pause or delete recordings at any time, and exclude specific apps & private browsing from recording.
