Gling is an AI-powered video editing tool for YouTube creators. It helps them save time by automatically cutting silences and bad takes from their videos, so they can focus on creating content. It has a desktop app for MacOS and Windows, and supports exporting to popular video editors like Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Adobe Premiere. Gling uses artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms to detect pauses and irrelevant parts of the video. Users upload their raw recordings and Gling will remove the bad takes for them. They can then review the edited video and further edit it if needed before exporting it to their preferred format. The first video edit is free, but after that users will be charged $5 per video. Currently Gling only supports English videos, but they hope to expand to other languages soon.
